Same here, still showing a 30 day, even though I was pretty early. Any way of confirming the upgrades?

I find Mindjet, difficult to use so I gave up on it.

I now use
AXON Idea Processor
which I think is a lot better.

They have a free version.

@vijay, @surj I wasn't asserting that De Bono invented mind maps, it's just the first place I heard about them as a kid :)

The post says the first 200 people who link from this page, and sign up for the trial will be converted to free 1 year subs. It will look like you're singing up for a regular trial, but Mindjet will actually convert the trial for you in the background.

I've been using mind maps for several years now and are an invaluable tool for planning and brainstorming. While the Mind Mapping software is great I'm more of a traditionalist. I created some pdf mind map templates on my site, www.mymindmap.net. If you like using paper then I recommend checking it out.

I am so sorry. There was a bit of a glitch in scheduling this post. It wasn't supposed to run until today.

Apologies to Phil for posting too early, and thanks all for your patience in getting to the link.

Phil,
Are the 200 extended trials gone already? I signed up this morning about 8:20 eastern time, and I have only a 30 day trial.

Thanks,
Bob

Imran, I think you're confusing Tony Buzan with Edward de Bono - the former being the popularizer of mind maps! Also, I find it odd, although both contemporary gentlemen have done pioneering work in broadly the same field (enhancing thinking) neither of them mentions the other in his works. Maybe it's professional rivalry!

Mindjet is currently deploying its new Website, highlighting MindManager 8 and MindManager Web, which should be live early this morning. Please continue to check the offer link this morning -- the new site will be live soon and the offer link will take you directly to the MindManager Web trial page, where the first 200 individuals will have their registrations converted to free 1-year subscriptions within 24 hours.

Thank you,
Phil Novack
