I also use delicious bookmarks as “read it later” tool. This works very well for me.

The only other add-ons that I use are iMacros, Adblock plus and ColorfulTabs. This keeps my Firefox fast.

I have too many extensions as it is.

So what I did was create a Bookmark Folder called ‘Later’, put it on my Bookmarks Toolbar near the URL Address box. To save a link I just drag it from the URL box onto the Later Folder.

To review and read these sites, it’s a simple matter of clicking on the Later Folder and seeing a drop down list of sites to select from.

To remove a site, Right-Click and select Delete.

Just don’t need an extension to provide that part of Read It Later that I would use.

It will take me some a lot of convincing before I use Read It Later: using delicious/diigo tools I can easily tag ‘read later’ sites i can visit later with a single click. Delicious goes a step further by allowing me to tag to other categories ‘must read’, ‘to print’ or ‘wish list’.

All these tags can easily be accessed via the Delicious toolbar.

I love the Read it Later plugin – I had been waiting for a long time for a temporary bookmark solution, and this is it!

No complaints about it either – it works like a charm! =)
