Unfortunately, the "expert" of some field is going to use these results to their further their own ends, but the survey is entirely framed. On one hand, I do believe that the creator of the fake MySpace account should have some kind of criminal charge weighed on her for deliberately harassing a child whom she knew had a history of depression. However, I don't think there should be any new government regulation to burden the internet- harassment is harassment no matter which way you look at it.

A lot of people don't fully understand the benefit of the internet, but only hear about the bad (ie: sex offenders, etc.) And .. there is a large group of people in these country we believe that the government is the answer, not the shut-down icon.

A meaningless, no, a misleading survey. The context of the question biases people to think about harassment and its consequence (suicide in the specific case they ask about). The start off talking about Myspace... which people have opinions on even if they've spent little to no time there. And... the question itself doesn't mean anything... or rather it means whatever the person listening wants it to mean. What does "like TV and radio" mean? Are we talking content? Ownership restrictions? Net neutrality?

Without defining what they mean by regulation they've got a result that can't be interpreted - some people might be in favor of content restrictions, others would be opposed to that but in favor of net neutrality... if they both answer yes, they MEAN different things... but the survey doesn't capture that.

Polls... the junk food of the mind.
