We just finished integrating Cogenuity with Calais Marmoset. It was a breeze and the results look pretty good. CNET is starting to use Calais too so my guess is that Calais is fast becoming the 800 pound gorilla in this space.

Calais is the best place to go see the dynamic end of the semantic web. Its a great place to start for those with only the barest notion of what it is and the Gnosis tool is a great demonstration of whats can be achieved. This is a super posting - a very helpful run-down.

Calais is THE best content analysis out there. In the commercial world, they compete with Inform, which costs up to a million for less hits than Calais. I also love the mashery integration... Sweet stuff.

Hi Mike,

Krista from the Calais initaitive here. I wanted to let folks know that Calais 2.1 has gone live.

In addition to our ongoing addition of new entities and vocabularies, the new release features relevance ranking and integration with Yahoo! Pipes.

BTW - we also updated our browser plug-in for Firefox 3 and created a version for IE. Go to 'Tools' on OpenCalais.com

Thanks.
