TeamViewer Goes Mac

April 3rd, 2008 (2:00pm) Mike Gunderloy No Comments

ScreenshotRemote control software TeamViewer has joined the short list of applications in their category offering cross-platform Windows/OS X access. They’re now shipping a beta version of their Mac client, which is free to download and use for non-commercial, personal use (business licenses start at $239 and include both versions).

TeamVIewer offers remote control over the internet (including through firewalls), file transfer, and the ability to bootstrap the software on to a customer’s computer with a small, emailable application. Some of these features are not yet in the Mac version, but they’re promised to be included before launch.
