WWD Survey: Tell us What Kind of Web Worker You Are

March 29th, 2008 (5:12pm) Judi Sohn 4 Comments

WWD started in September 2006 focused on the idea of a “digital nomad.” Since then, we’ve expanded our concept of the web worker to include anyone who wants to use the new web to work better.

What exactly does that mean? Let’s find out. Please take a minute or two to complete this survey (it’s only 8 short questions). If you provide us with your name and email when you fill out the survey, we’ll enter you in a random drawing to win one of ten copies of our book, Connect! A Guide to a New Way of Working. We’ll only use your name and email to contact you if you won. It won’t be entered into any kind of database and your name will not be published.

If you’re having trouble viewing the survey below in your browser, you can fill it out directly on the Wufoo site here. The survey will be closed on April 9, 2008.

Thank you! We look forward to using the results to make Web Worker Daily a better site for you.

Hmmmm, that one question that asked us if we would like more tech reviews or more lifestyle articles was hard. I like the current blend and tend to lean more towards tech reviews, but I’m wondering if it’s possible make the answers say, “60/40″ “70/30″ “20/80″ etc? Perhaps too complicated for what you’re actually asking. ;-)

I agree with Deanna. I had a hard time with that one. I’d hate to lose the app reviews, but I mostly read articles about the trends in working anywhere. It’s the niche that brought me here way back when.

Don’t worry…it’s not going to be interpreted as an either/or thing. We’re just looking to see where the wind is leaning. Thanks for the feedback that you like it balanced, though. :-)
