ScreenshotThere are plenty of services out there that offer some combination of online file storage, synchronization, and storage. New entrant Dropbox comes to this crowded market with a well-crafted entry (now in beta). Features include file synching via folders on your desktop computer (Windows or OS X), sharing via URLs, and a persistent history of file changes that let you roll back any disaster.

For a fuller review, including a code to get into the beta if you’re quick enough, hop over to our parent site GigaOm, where you can also see screenshots.

Looking forward to see this one in action. Is is similar to Sugarsync? I can’t wait to finally find an alternative to Foldershare .
