I prefer http://www.myotherdrive.com for online backup and file sharing. Unlike sites that offer free space that is not really free (expires, free for 14 days, etc.) they offer 5GB free permanent space. They are the Mozy of backup and the box.net of file sharing all in one. And they run on a Mac or PC.

Adrive does provide public access of your files, you can simply select the ones you want to share and click on the share button.

The one I want is the API access using PHP, any one knows whether it supports or not?

Thanks

I am wondering if there is something out there that works like google docs for sharing?

Ideally, I would like to be able to make documents and so on available as links to clients/staff etc, so when they lose them, I can just email a link direct from the share, rather than have to rewrite the invoice or whatever because I left it at home (some stuff still not migrated onto the "cloud"...)

I stumbled upon ADrive in Dec of 2007. It has impressed me everyday. I have a lot of data that I need stored away from my computer. 50GB is more than enough plus I just noticed that they are about to offer more storage.

It appears that ADrive doesn't allow PUBLIC DOWNLOAD, which is what i really need. However, MYBLOOP does have that feature. So thanks Zia for the tips, and WWD for the suggestion ^_^
