Another is Ping.fm. Both have unlimited possibities made even bigger by the various apps/widgets that are available on both. I particularly like Hellotxt because I found that I can not only send photos, but videos, and selected funny statements. On both its now possible to post from your cell phone. Another I have just discovered is utterli. http://www.utterli.com/u/connections. But be careful.
