Jason, nice review. Scheduling is a big deal and a huge time drain, and here at TimeBridge, we address the concerns you discuss and solve the scheduling mess. We also support Google Calendar, which is very helpful for many people.
I encourage readers to check us out www.timebridge.com.

Oh, the promise of this tool. They launched at DEMOfall and you still can't get your hands on the beta release.

Hi Jason,

Thank you for your review and really appreciate your feedback in helping us make Tungle the ultimate Meeting Coordinator. I am glad that you found our application easy to use – as this is key in helping professionals save time coordinating meeting on any platforms.

I wanted to make minor comments/corrections on some of the points you mentioned in your review:

1. It is true that today, Tungle can only be installed by Outlook users – which represents a large portion of the busy professional users. But it is important to note, that once you have Tungle, you can easily coordinate meetings with anyone, even non-Tungle users on MAC, Google Calendar, Lotus Notes, Sunbird, etc.

2. The beta version that you tried is using a variant of blowfish encryption for all calendar data transfer between Tungle users – across the Internet. The clear-text transfer mentioned in your article only happens on your computer, between Outlook and the Tungle software installed on your machine – not over the Internet. As you mentioned, this is a temporary measure for debugging purposes as we are completing our pre-beta trials. Rest assured that security and privacy of information is important for Tungle.

We are looking forward to your continued evaluations and will keep our focus on developing a service that solves a complex problem, simply.
