There is a great guide at http://www.how-to-reach-your-goals.com that will help anyone set and achieve goals with ease. It is free (not even an e-mail address required) and there is nothing for sale in the e-book.

I like to track my goals on www.43things.com. That way I'm networking with other people and I know who has the same goals and we're all cheering each other on.

I'd like to give Joes Goals another mention. I use it daily because a number of my longer-term, broader goals are done by daily disciplines, like exercise or professional reading. JG is a great way to track these types of daily habits.

Many of my goals are something I want to do/change on a regular basis which is why I started using Joe's Goals very regularly. This way my goals are simpler and broken down in a way I can track them, eg; workout M/W/F in Joe's as opposed to "loose weight" in 43Things.

Happy new year!

I like to use Life Balance software (for Mac, PC, Palm). I set big goals, then break each goal into tasks. The "to do" list shows only the tasks that are relevant at the time, which keeps me from feeling overwhelmed.
