I think at least for the hop to Vancouver its very likely... why would you install AP's (cisco ones don't come cheap) without intending to do anything with it. The money's been spent, now they just need the land based antennas and to offer it. @Jon

Although for the biggest downside of island life - the boats, wifi on the ferries would be the ultimate killer service. No longer killing time on the boats / lineups would be sweet.
