With all the hype around Google Talk lately, does no one remember that it is a Jabber client? The ability to use Google Talk to connect to MSN and Yahoo has been in place since January 2006, just search.

Does anyone think that Google Talk will eventually handle other signins like MSN IM, Yahoo IM? Frankly, I feel there the turf war over the IM userbase will not end soon.

Google has made some good improvements to gtalk as of late… I like the fact that they added the AIM signin but would have preferred the yahoo IM as well. Scott

Mac OS X users can also place the Google Talk Gadget directly inside their Dashboard via Amnesty Generator, or as a standalone widget on the desktop via Amnesty Hypercube.

Very helpful article. I’ve been with T-Mobile a while , and have asked them several times about productivity offerings. They just answer with blank staires. so , I decided to research it myself , and found nothing impressive. When I heard Google had thrown their hat into the cell phone ring , I started to follow the topic. I’ve decided to make the switch. I’m gonna Digg this article and pass it on.
