I have a professional Wrike subscription. The tool is actually a great productivity booster. I’ve noticed it almost immediately after starting to use it. Everyone in the team works independently, but still they stay on the same page and work on tasks together. Each team member is immediately aware about the changes made to a task. I can also involve my clients. They love the tool, since they can contribute to the project without learning how to use the tool. They simply write emails.

Sandy, yes the primary thing that I like about Wrike is how tightly integrated with my normal e-mail behavior it is. I live in e-mail, and it’s nice to have a project manager that works as kind of an e-mail sidekick.

For anyone interested in these types of tools, have a look at www.actionthis.com which not only helps people plan and collaborate together, it also provides reports and reminders to help people track tasks through to completion. What's more, there's also client software for Microsoft Outlook, so that people can manage their ActionThis action items alongside their email - they don't have to learn or monitor a new tool.

Seems like a great tool! As far as I understood from your post you can create tasks by simply writing emails. I had a closer look at the app and it looks like you can even update tasks with emails! This is absolutely amazing, cause you don’t have to stay logged on the working space all the time. I've found this post at wrike.com.blog and this idea of using the tool together with my BlackBerry makes me think of buying a professional subscription.

Etelos has just released an on-demand project management tool called Etelos Projects. It provides integration with iGoogle and Google Apps - you can view your Projects list, Tasks or Timelogs as gadgets and manage them from your Google home page. And there is a free trial version as well.
