As a PC tech, who spends his day wearily restoring the shattered remanants of big brand laptops and desktops, these hardy, low cost systems are the wave of the future. For people who just need something to connect to the internet and write the occasional email, or letter, these are the thin, purpose built appliances that they have been waiting for. Simple to use, low cost systems with no crippleware or crapware. With something like the Asus, you could even get a 1TB external drive for a reasonable price, and now you could hold all the music, data, and pics you could ever want. These systems will literally promote a sea change in the retail computer market.
