I look forward to the day when a group of lawyers from the various countries and legal traditions/jurisdictions get together and produce a workable set of guidelines. Understandably, so much of what is produced assumes a US legal and constitutional framework, which I see as potentially a drawback not just for those of us outside the US, but for bloggers whose business is international and may find it uncomfortable, say to be thrown in the slammer in some foreign city because they didn't realize there was no constitutional amendment or decision of a US court in operation there to protect them.

While I think this is a book that needs to be written, I'm leery of any version of it that isn't written by a lawyer. (And not all of us are incapable of writing in plain English!) These are such mutable, complex areas of the law that,as a blogger, I'd want my advice written by a practitioner who was familiar with them.

That being said, for $10, I'll shell out my money and exercise due caution.
