It’s Not 1984 All Over Again - iPhoneSimFree has demonstrated software-only SIM unlocking for the iPhone, freeing it from the AT&T network, and promises to be selling their service soon. Belfast-based UniquePhones is also rumored to be on the verge of releasing a commercial iPhone unlocking service. Watch for Apple and AT&T to respond with lawsuits and mandatory software updates.

Naps, Glorious Naps! - 20MinuteNap.com offers a daily soundtrack of music for napping by. Just navigate to their site, turn up your speakers, punch the go button, and close your eyes. Watch out for “keyboard face.”

The Internet’s Suggestion Box - Should Do This allows anyone to make a suggestion for any organization, and then applies Web 2.0 tools like voting and tagging and RSS to organize the results. They also offer moderation services (for a fee) to companies that actually want to use their suggestion box page in an official capacity.

Anonymous Bookmark Sharing - The folks behind Hikkup (which we looked at a while back) have now released a Firefox extension to allow easy use of their service with any content you find on the internet. It’s sort of like using del.icio.us without all that messy community stuff.

Not Just for Internet Geeks - Keep the Core Neutral is an advocacy group seeking to restrain moves at ICANN towards censoring domain names. If your bit of web workerhood involves registering domains, it’s worth having a look at their site.
