I like the Notes option. However for tasks, I find Vitalist to be a much more usable product. It follows the GTD approach much tighter and is very easy to use. It has unlimited projects and a multitude of ways to filter the info. Also, using Vitalilst with Jott has been a great combo. I've been using it for over a month and prefer it over Backpack. I've always got it open in a Firefox tab while I'm at my computer, and when I'm away, I'll either shoot stuff to it via SMS from my phone or using the free <a href="http://www.celltell.tv/" rel="nofollow">CellTell</a> service to leave myself voice notes. Like you said, the new Backpack is great, because now it's <em>a lot</em> easier to organize my stuff by moving it to other pages.
