id also add that google wins on the merits of its api.

when you have other companies out there building apps that improve your product you have a higher score in my books. calgoo www.calgoo.com for example has made google calendar far better then before. ive been able to use it as my primary calendar now where as before i was hesitant to have my schedule floating up in space with no hard file on my pc.

I'm a 30boxes fan myself. I like that it's pretty dead simple. But I am considering taking the plunge and trying some iCal/Basecamp integration to see how that works for me.

Thanks for the head-to-head analysis. For clarification, at 30 Boxes we have been open and directed toward the social side since day one. We believe that what you do online equals who you are and in the context of your closest friends this is *essential* in planning and staying up to date.

Google did a fine job of porting Apple's innovations with iCalendar to the Mac but we believe that design track is a dead end and derivative of Microsofts outmoded architecture.

We also love that Web Workers make use of 30B but our target demo is college, post-college, and people who don't want to feel overwhelmed by their calendar UI.

We have also released numerous calendar specific innovations in the last 12 months and have many more still to come!
