Open Thread: What Calendar Do You Use?

I embrace paper for my to do list while choosing online calendaring. But these three paper calendars from Lifehack.org tempt me towards entirely analog planning. I can’t decide which one looks most fun and useful.
Perhaps the WeekDate, which uses an innovative design to handle recurring events, would suit:
One of the common drawbacks of using a paper calendar is having to write recurring events repeatedly, and then, of course, you have the hassle of erasing and updating all of them when something changes. One calendar has changed all of that. WeekDate is one of the most creative things I have seen in a while. You write in all of your monthly recurring appointments, all of your weekly recurring appointments, and then all of your specific day appointments on different folded-in “flaps” of the calendar itself, so that you can view them all at once and have no need to rewrite things.
Closed, the Weekdate planner measures 9.5″ by 4″, a bit smaller than a piece of office paper folded lengthwise in half. You can fit one in your handbag or man bag and choose from a variety of cover designs.
What’s your calendaring solution? Paper or electronic?

I use google calendar – it is fantastic and links our family and business calendars together brilliantly
Google calendar. Love it.
Weekdate looks mighty tasty. I might have to try one of these. Currently using a Moleskine small weekly pocket. But it’d be great to have recurrings listed just once.
And “Man Bag”. heh. That’s what my boys call my my Tom Bihn Medium Cafe Bag.
Google Calendar – I’ve been off paper since 1989, when my boss always was asking my admin where I was. It’s the only way to go when others are dependent upon you.
30 Boxes.
I helped code it ;-)
I use Yahoo and Google calendars because you can never have too much of a good thing!!!
Excellent; sent my wife the link to Weekdate and she bought one; she’s been searching for a new portable calendar for the last few weeks. Now I can try before I buy!
I moved back to 30 Boxes from Google Calendar. 30 Boxes is much more reliable (reminders) and dynamic and I don’t want to use too many Google services.
If only 30 Boxes would remember the selected style sheet…
Outlook + Paxo + Blackberry
30boxes, of course..
But my boss likes Google Calendar, so.. work calendars in Google and personals and others in 30boxes..
I’ve used the since I discovered it about 12 years ago, my freshman year in college.
Oops, I misinterpreted the tag destructions. I use the Uncalendar, which is pitifully linked above.
I’ve integrated Google Calendar and Apple iCal together with Spanning Sync. Works like a charm and allows me to share calendars with my girlfriend and work colleagues no matter what platform they’re using. Changes I make offline on iCal are automatically synced the next time I’m online.
Strictly a Treo (palm OS) calender user. Never sync with my computer. My phone (treo) is always on me and I prefer it quietly vibrating to notify me of something upcoming than having my computer interrupt whatever I’m currently working on especially if I’m in the middle of editing.
Backpack Calendar. Very simple but a joy to use.
I use google calendar :)
Google calendar and Calgoo :-)
I use Moleskine weekly planner notebook. It has lots of space for each day of each week. Plus an empty page per week for notes, jotting and sketching. Tried Google and Yahoo! calendars but — at least for me — they were too much of a hassle.
Downside is that the planner’s quite big (13 x 21 cm / 5 x 8 ¼”, there is a smaller variant available, though) and doesn’t travel well without a briefcase or a bag.
I’m compensating this with Nokia e61 calendar, which I keep as synced with my Moleskine as I see necessary. I also carry on me a smaller and thinner pocket sized Moleskine notebook with a Hipster ToDo List and a pen clipped to it.
I use Google Calendar (and Remote Calendars to get my office’s Outlook on to GCal) and then print it to carry in my hPDA. I think it is the best blend of online and paper calendaring.
I’m more than a bit biased, but I use Jotlet Calendar.
It’s really simple and sends reminders straight to my cell phone.
I use Scrybe (beta) online/offline (it has offline sync using the browser) and print out the little booklet pages it produces, as well as a Filofax. For the latter the old Lotus Organizer program can print the pages, which I then cut to size and, using a Filofax hole punch, use in the binder. Could not work without the Filofax, that’s for sure. Never again do I want to use a PDA or Pocket PC.
I use Entourage 2004 on my Powerbook and Agendus Premier on my Treo 680.
Hello,
I am a private investor and have a mix of commerical and residential notes I am trying to find buyers for.
I came across a site called Promissory.us.
Anyone here ever use them?
Are there any services out there that will sell/broker your notes for a flat fee or low commission
similar to http://www.promissory.us?
Any help or suggestions would be great.
Thanks,
Alex Taylor
