T-Mobile Offers Free HotSpot Access to Vista Customers

March 2nd, 2007 (5:37am) Judi Sohn 2 Comments

T-Mobile is offering free HotSpot access to customers running Windows Vista. The promotion runs through April 30, 2007. Just visit any HotSpot location and sign up for an account using IE 7. T-Mobile will have a nice little ActiveX control run to verify that you’re on Vista, and you’ll be good to go. After April 30, you’ll have to pay to keep surfing.

This isn’t a reason to upgrade in itself, but if you have that new laptop and time to kill at a Starbucks or Borders, why pay if you don’t have to?

Also check out skysurprise.com, a website I worked on related to the Vista/T-Mobile promotion. (Which, coincidentally, uses the same font as the header Web Worker.)
